Recipe: Drop it like it's Hot COOKIES

I bet you're wondering what the title of this post has to do with these cookies?
Observe:

'Okay, I've already posted a recipe for cookies with similar ingredients.
Why am I obsessed with chocolate and peanut butter cookies?
I don't even like chocolate and peanut butter together unless it's in a cookie.
*Starts scooping batter out to drop on sheet*
Oh, this is the 'drop' method like we talked about in class...
ohhhh Drop it like it's hot! Whatever happened to that song...'

So, there you go. Welcome to my world. And here is a commercial with the song for those who are less musically inclined:

I would totally do something like this.

Here is the recipe:

Ingredients:

-1 1/2 cup White Whole Wheat Flour
-1/2 cup Oats
-1/2 tsp baking soda
-1/2 tsp baking powder
-1/2 tsp salt
-1/2 to 1 cup Brown Sugar Splenda Mix (Or just brown sugar...we will talk about the Splenda debate soon...)
-1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
-1/4 cup Peanut Butter (I used Skippy Natural, Crunchy)
-1 tsp Vanilla
-1/2 cup Almond Milk, Original

Directions:
-Preheat oven to 370F
-Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl

-Scoop out onto greased cookie sheet (I made 20 cookies, but they turned out BIG. You could easily make 30-40 cookies with this much dough)
-Bake for approximately 12-15 minutes

Now, devour them!

They are really fluffy, but that's what I wanted. A big, fluffy cookie with peanut butter and chocolate to make me feel better about the fact that this Biochem test is going to kick my butt this week...

  1. Yum and yum! I made chocolate chip peanut butter blondies this weekend. I just can't get enough of the chocolate peanut butter combo. These I have got to try - thanks for sharing!
