Update: The last day of August

As you can tell, my postings are becoming more and more spread apart. School and work are trying to consume my life. Let's just say they are winning.

Tis true little bunny. Tis true.

We actually just practiced 24 hour recalls in my MNT (Medical Nutrition Therapy) class this week. So, I would say I am finally in the perfect field for me :)

Here is what happened yesterday:

-1 Tbsp Skippy Natural Peanut Butter
-1/4 cup Frozen Mango
-1/2 cup Almond Breeze Almond Milk, Original
-1/2 Medium Frozen Banana
-4 oz. Starbucks 100 calorie Mocha Frap. (Needed some caffeine!)

I went to dinner with an awesome friend that I haven't seen in a long time! We went to Mellow Mushroom! Yum!

-Half Tempeh Hoagie (I only ate half the bun.)
--Marinated and Grilled Tempeh
--Grilled Mushrooms
--Grilled Bell Peppers
--Lettuce and Tomato

-I also had some crust off of the small pizza I took home to DH ;)

Not my pic, but this is what it looks like (minus the nasty sprouts)

Calories: 538
Fat: 24 g
Carbs: 60 g
Protein: 28 g

-Other than the walking I did around campus, I don't typically workout on Wednesdays. My schedule started at 10am and I didn't get home until 8pm.
However, I taught Kickboxing Saturday, Cycle on Sunday and Cycle on Tuesday. Today I am teaching RIPPED!! So excited! And I have a feeling I will be teaching tomorrow, as well as Saturday and Sunday...

Seriously, if you haven't tried this class, you need to get on it! So much fun!
-CARBS: 141 g
-FAT: 43 g
-PROTEIN: 71 g

Is this calorie count low? Probably. However, this is where some people do better not counting calories.
I typically stay around 1,400 Calories a day on average. When you look at my calorie trend over time it always goes steadily up (depending upon my activity) and then steadily down, then back up again. So, what I am saying is that it all evens out. I didn't purposefully try to eat this many calories yesterday, I just listened to my body, which is what I believe is the most important thing we can do.

I hope everyone has a wonderful LONG weekend!!
