WIAW Official #8

This is the day that I made my Oatmeal Revelation, so needless to say, the day started out with this:

Just say No
Therefore, no breakfast on Monday, which we all know is against my religion.

I had class from 9-10am, then I went and practiced RIPPED for an hour.

By Lunch I was starving and I had this:

Romaine Lettuce, Bell Pepper, Carrots, Roasted Squash Seeds, Raspberry Vinaigrette Dressing
Black Eyed Peas with Organic Salsa

I quickly showered and worked on some homework before going to my next class at 1:30pm. I had a break in between classes and I had a snack:

Twilight inspired
I also had some more of my homemade roasted squash seeds...I heart seeds.

I had a meeting after class, so when I got home I was hungry again. My dinner was delicious!

Tilapia w Lemon Pepper Seasoning, Steamed Broccoli w Parmesan and Steamed Brown Rice

The only thing not pictured is the greek yogurt I had for dessert. It wasn't my usual greek yogurt concoction, but a regular greek yogurt with fruit on the bottom. I'm not a big fan of flavored yogurt...I added granola to make it better, but I still prefer plain.

What did you eat today? What is your favorite breakfast?

Check out the whole party at Jenn's!

  2. If you don't like oatmeal, you don't like it. I'm sure there are a lot of other things you can eat that are healthy and filling that you do like. I keep seeing everyone eating bananas. I'm just not really a fan. I throw one in once in a while but overall...not my thing. I used to use them in smoothies but haven't had one of those in a while either. Maybe I'll try it again. Down bow to pressure. Eat what you like. It makes you unique anyway!

    1. Thanks Fran! I think I will just stick my scrambled eggs and kale or one of my smoothies. It's okay to not like oatmeal or bananas! ;)

My favorite breakfast is pancakes but I dont have time to make them during the week so I usually just have a bowl of oatmeal with a sliced banana, lots of cinnamon and skim milk. :)

  6. Breakfast is soooo important. I die by about 10:30am if I don't have at least a bite to eat.

Delicious looking salad and beans! I can't get behind red delicious though. I'm more of a Fuji girl, myself. :)

    Happy wednesday!
