Recipe: {Slow Cooker} Turkey Vegetable Soup

This started out as chili...then it turned into vegetable soup...but, it turned out delicious!


Ingredients:

-1 lb lean ground turkey
-1 package mixed vegetables for soup (found in Publix frozen vegetables)
-1 small can tomato paste
-2 14 oz cans diced tomatoes
-1 tsp cumin, dried
-1 tsp chili powder
-1 tsp ground pepper
-1 can beans (I used red kidney)
-2 cups water

Directions:

-Brown the ground turkey in a greased skillet
-Add the diced tomatoes, tomato paste, beans, mixed vegetables, cumin, chili powder, and pepper
-Add the browned ground turkey
-Stir all ingredients together
-Add water, stir again
-Cook on low for 6-8 hours
-Serve!
